Please sponsor the Spruce Creek Hawk Swimming Team’s 12th annual 5K Charity Swim in which we raise money to provide swim lessons for local needy children. We believe it's essential everyone learns to swim and enjoy a sport we are all so passionate about. A 5K is 5000 yards, which is 200 laps in a 25-yard pool. Our swimmers will swim the 5000 yards Saturday 9-19. It is roughly equivalent to running close to a half marathon.
Our goal is to raise at least $1000 for this project, plus money for team expenses. Because of Covid-19, we have not been able to have our usual fundraisers, so we are expanding our efforts for this 5K Swim to solicit donations from friends and family and to host a virtual 5K swim for other interested swimmers.
Want to join us in making a difference? There's no need to travel - you can Swim the 5K virtually, wherever you are. Your local pool, out in the open water, in a lake, or if you don't want to swim, you can still donate... it's up to you! Event entry fee is $20 – Our team goal is $1000 for the swim lessons donation – money raised over our team goal will go towards team expenses.

Thank you so much for considering helping the Spruce Creek Hawk Swimming Team. We seek to develop and set traditions in a sportsmanlike manner in a competitive Florida High School Swimming program. Not only do we take pride in our academic achievements (Girls’ unweighted GPA 3.682; Boys’ 3.629; and both have much higher weighted GPAs) and swimming success, but we care about our community.
